When I Was In Search For An Internship I Knew I Wanted

When I was in search for an internship I knew I wanted to find something where I could give back to my community. I talked with few people about it and they all told me about 5th legislative district office of senator Nilsa I. Cruz-Perez. I applied for the position of an internship and I got an interview for the position. As soon I went to the interview I felt a connection with the place I felt in love with it. I started going to the place on September 2016 to this point now. What I do with them is different everyday; it’s like a new Adventure. Everyday is something new but in general this is what we do. Also when it comes to find the family a place to stay we also helped them find a proper apartment for them. Another case was a lady who files for her tax in 2015 and to 3 moths ago she has not received her money. After she call us she explain that she files her tax and has not received nothing from them and every time she call them to find more information about her case they always said that it was being process. But it did not make any sense due to the fact that it should be done in less than 3 moths that most. She provided me with all of tha t information and I call them and explain what was going on with my constituent and that I was wondering why they had not respond to her with more information. They asked me to send them all the information and that they will look in to it. After I send all the information in two weeks the constituent had her money in hand. Also we are involved in all activities that senator is involved. For example last year for the Hispanic Leadership summit that senator was one of the people who spoke in the ceremony.
